Social Innovation Forum

Organized by British Council Chongqing and Chongqing Municipal Government, China-UK Social Innovation Forum: Sustainable Public Services and Sustainable Social Welfare, was held on 19th October in Chongqing Intercontinental Hotel with an aim to face the challenges brought by the rapid urbanization and soaring economic growth in Southwest China. Ten leading UK speakers were invited to attend the forum and discussed the future with Chinese local policy makers. Around 140 government officials, scholars and journalists had been invited to attend the forum.
