Social Enterprise Overview: A UK and China Perspective published!

What is social enterprise? What role is social enterprise playing in promoting social development and tackling social problems?How has this new concept been developing in China?

The British Council China and Bijiao (Comparative Economic & Social Systems) Journal under China Centre for Comparative Politics and Economics jointly published a special edition to Bijiao, which is titled Social Enterprise Overview: A UK and China Perspective. The book gives a detailed description of the concept of social enterprise. It also gives an overview,through a series of case studies, of the development ofsocial enterprise in the UK, the latest UK government's policy support to further promote social enterprise and how the new concept has been introduced into China.
